BOYS
Where, When are tryouts?Tryouts for high school boys lacrosse players (August 2007 grades 9 – 12) at the Greene St Fields of Winter Park High School - Main Campus on Sunday August 26 from 9:30 - 12 noon. Register for Boys Tryouts Fall 2007 Click on the Credit Card Payments Button on the left (make sure the drop down menu is Tryouts $25)
How many players will make the teams? How many teams? Cost?
We will select more than one team - Top Guns & Young Guns, if the player makes one of the teams, then he pays a $195 Membership Fee for the Fall of 2007. This covers their Dri-Fit Training Shirt, Game Shorts, Equipment Bag and loaner use of Game Jersey and Helmet.
Fall Tournaments – Baltimore, Tampa (2), Orlando (2)…Who travels?
The TeamFLC squads (2) that travel to the tournaments will be selected from the tryouts on August 26. The tournament team players will have additional travel costs -$395 for Baltimore, $195 Tampa, Orlando FREE (covered with your $195 Membership) to include any and all of the following that is applicable...
Airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meal-a-day, tourney fees, fields, officials, etc
Who plays in the tournament games?
EVERY player that travels plays in EVERY game (50% MINIMUM)
Are there Team Helmets for the Boy’s?
Players will be issued Team Helmets. They also is a purchase option (NEW Custom Helmets and Gloves coming in 2008)
Will this help us with the college recruiting process?
The student-athletes on our teams get full support in the college recruiting process. EVERY year, for the last 10 years, we have placed kids with NCAA programs where they receive some form of financial aid/scholarships.
Do parents travel to the out-of-town tournaments as chaperones? Many parents do come to the tournaments and enjoy cheering on the teams, but it is NOT required. Our coaches are also chaperones. All of TeamFLC coaches have CPR/First Aid training and are State Certified Teachers.

(You should play with your high school team - if your HS does not have enough for a team we will place you on a team)

- Saturday September 15 - 3 v 3 Chumash Tourney HS Girls - Winter Park HS
- Saturday October 20 - 7 v 7 Girls HS Tourney - Tampa (FishHawk) - If your school does not have a Fall Ball team, then you play for TeamFLC.
- Saturdays Nov. 3, 10, 17 & Dec. 1, 8, 15 - FALL BALL Girls HS - Orlando * Remember - You play with your HS team - If your school does not have a Fall Ball team, then you play for TeamFLC.
